HOUSE PLAQUE NUMBER PROJECT—Horizontal plaques
For each house we will supply four 3” x 6” white ceramic tiles and a wood frame that they will fit in (see the 1238 sample below). Frame is approximately 14” wide x 8” tall x 1” deep. Or if you so desire you may create something entirely different—use your imagination! (Or Google “DIY house number plaques”) We will provide the house number. This project needs to be completed by July 8th.

The one-week project enables citizens, businesses, clubs, and organizations to lend a helping hand to low-income and elderly citizens residing within the New Bern City limits. With our teams of volunteers Group Cares and Paint Your Heart Out New Bern will paint and repair homes for low income, seniors or disabled residents for FREE. Additionally, we do yard clean-up, gate/fence repairs, driveway repaving, window repairs, stucco/wood patching depending on the needs of the homeowners. All the work is done by our wonderful volunteers and materials are donated to us by local businesses within the communities we serve.
